Rates & Fees

Administration Fees

Pet Sit Now applies a 5% administration fee to keep costs, rates and charges low for our clients (as well as our business), also to maintain steady consistent service to each individual pet owner. The fees include and or not limited to:

  • Employee benefits ( various compensation)
  • Insurance Multi-Liability and Bonding Policy
  • Background , screening, vetting & orientation package, et al.

Last Minute Service Fee
Emergencies do occur and it is Per Sit Now’s goal to help when it is imperative – even at the 11th hour! BUT DO NOT BE REST ASSURED UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN INVOICE and &/OR A CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

*** An additional $40 fee will be added to you request.

Registration FEE

A one-time $20.00 non-refundable fee will be charged for processing all clients- to the 1st time client order service order invoice. Clients & prospects that schedule and receive a registration meeting and do not book service are still required to submit and complete payment for the registration meeting.

Payment

Pet Sit Now accepts payment via credit card via PayPal. A link is provided to you at the bottom of the invoice.

Payment Process

We will email the itemized and detailed service order for your review- you can see if any changes need to be made to the order. Payment is due PRIOR to beginning of service ( before the 1st visit date on each invoice). Reservations are not continued until payments are PAID IN FULL.

Refunds

Refunds are not issued, but we credit your account for cancelled visits that comply to the PSN Policy ( see below cancellation policy) Credits expire after six months.

Federal Holidays| Closed

Calls and text messages are monitored for emergencies during this time. All other calls are
returned during business hours.

Reservations

Your reservations only confirmed when a final invoice/confirmation email to make a reservation. You can send an email, text or call the Pet Sit Now office 678-463-3637. MESSAGES ARE NOT CONSIDERED CONFIRMATIONS.

Availability

Monthly clients who schedule midday walks receive a reserved time slot and are guaranteed availability for weekly-midday walks. All other services are on a first-come, first-served basis, availability isn’t guaranteed. We do try our utmost to accommodate all of our clients, advanced bookings are highly recommended – especially during peak seasonal and religious holidays as higher demand calls for fast, last minute competitive reservations.

Cancellation Policy

ABSOLUTLEY NO OVERBOOKING POLICY!

Once you have a service contract, we will turn away business in order to accommodate your schedule. If there is improper.no cancellation notice, you will be charged FOR ALL VISITS AND OVERNIGHTS.

Monthly Midday Walk Clients

Receive up to 3 credits cancellations per/monthly invoice.
Vacation| time off PRIOR to invoice will not count towards your credit quota!

Any scheduled weekend/holiday service , booked and confirmed, regardless of how many cancelled visits must be cancelled 24 hours before to 1 scheduled visit, regardless of visit being cancelled falls 24/or more day cancellations is required.

Visiting Hours: Pet Sit Now do not do exact visiting hours, they provide visits within a reasonable service window ( see below). If you need a different time, your pet sitter will try to accomodate. Online times required are noted as am , midday, pm only- NOT A SPECIFIC TIME, otherwise, please contact the PSN office & we will do our best to adjust the pet (s) schedule.

  • Am & pm visits occur between 7am-9am
  • Midday walks occur between 11am & 2;30pm
  • Late Day Walks are between 3pm to 5pm
  • Evening visits are between 6-8pm

*** Cat visits are a minimum of every/48 hours and dogs are a minimum of every 12 hours. ***

Keys

PSN requires 2 sets of keys: 1 copy for the assigned pet sitter and 1 copy for the office as backup. We ask that you give the keys to your assigned pet sitter at the registration meeting. Any other time for the sitter to pick up or drop off is a $10.00 charge each ( pick up or drop off).

  • Client assumes responsibility of notifying pet sitter & office of ANY CHANGES of keys, locks codes, phone numbers
  • Client ensures that assigned sitter and PSN office has current, usable and active keys, & codes, phone numbers at all times.
  • Client MUST notify office of any changes to keys, locks , codes or phone numbers.
  • Client releases PSN from any & all liability and expense related to locksmith fees to gain access to their home resulting from clients failure to comply with the above stated key policy.

Keys on File

A client provides 2 sets of keys at time of registration meeting. The first set for pet sitter to use, the other one as backup for the office, both of which are retained unless we are instructed otherwise.

*** 2 sets of keys must be provided to your assigned pet sitter at the registration meeting. Should the pet sitter need to come back to [pickup at a later time, a $10.00 fee will be added your invoice.

Concierge: The front desk of your building holds your keys, which we pick up and drop off after each service.

Lockbox: A client’s keys are kept in a lockbox affixed to property. If the client prefers this option, client will provide a lockbox for PET SIT NOW.

Key Entry: A client provides sitter and office with an access code to enter property via keypad or keylessoption

*** Backup key location must be provided in the event of power and/or battery failure ***

Key Service: A client provides two (2) sets of keys to pet sitter at time of registration meeting, both of which are dropped off to client by their pet sitter after their service ( $10 key service applies)

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a brick & mortar location, thus we we do not have a location for clients to either pickup or/ drop off their keys. If you wish to have your keys retained after your service/ or require a key pick before your next service, our only option is for our sitter to come to you. We do have a $10.00 key service fee for any and ALL necessary key pickups and drop off, with the exception off the INITIAL key pickup at the time of your registration meeting.

“SHARE CARE”/Unsecured Pets: Pet Sit Now sitters are not able to care in conjunctions with a 3rd party or/parties.

Outdoor Animals: PSN provides care to indoor-only pets, and we are not able to provide care of for any kind to strays or wild life, or in any situation where animal is not inside a client’s residence.

Secured Areas: It is the client’s sole responsibility to pet proof any areas of the home and/or property to which the pet (s) has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, ;latches, doors & other devices to keep the pet (s) inside or away from any forbidden areas.
The pet sitter does not assume and has no liability for any injury the pet may sustain while in its own home.

Special Needs Addendum: PSN will NOT provide any backup pet sitters for clients with special needs given they lack the specific, required expertise in the clients’ capacity.

Climate Clause: PSN reserves the right to adjust the thermostat, close/open windows ( as long as it remains safe & secure ), turn air conditioning on/off ( heat also) in ALL of our client’s home
if our pet sitters feel the climate’s posing a health threat to your pet(s) in our care. We will notify you if any adjustments are made.

Safe Access: It is the Pet Owner’s responsibility to provide safe access to their home (ie, shoveling or hosing down sidewalks, driveway, steps and porch)

Confidentiality: We recognize that your privacy is important to you and your family. We will NOT, at any time, either directly or indirectly, use any information for our own benefit, disclose or communicate in any manner, any information to any third party.
